Several weeks ago I saw Carol Nelson's 100 Portraits.  I had been thinking about starting to do daily paintings but felt I needed a specific subject on which to focus.  The idea of painting 100 paintings of a particular subject provided the focus and cats will be my subject.  I have chased every cat down in the neighborhood as well as the dogs.  The creatures around here have learned to hide when they see me out with my camera.  Unfortunately there are very few cats about and not nearly 100.  So I asked for photos from my friends and family and still need more photos of cats.  So send me your photos!  The best shots are those taken at the cat's level and in natural light.  Yep, that means laying on your tummy!  Send your photos to paintpetpix@yahoo.com
